Jacopo Barberi, Research Fellow from the Department of Applied Science and Technology at Politecnico di Torino, recently represented REBORN at the SIB2024 Conference, organized by the Italian Society of Biomaterials (Società Italiana Biomateriali) in Faenza, Italy.
Dr. Barberi delivered an invited talk titled “The REBORN Multifunctional Patch: Pioneering Cardiac Recovery with Electrospun Piezoelectric Fibers and Local Drug Delivery” His presentation focused on the innovative approach of using electrospun piezoelectric fibers integrated with local drug delivery systems to enhance cardiac recovery.
