From October 15 to 18, 2024, Alice Benedetto Mas from the Politecnico di Torino attended the BioMaH international conference titled “Biomaterials and Novel Technologies for Healthcare” held in Rome, Italy. During the conference, she introduced the REBORN project to a substantial audience, sharing innovative insights and the project’s key objectives with an engaged crowd.

In her presentation, attended by around forty participants primarily from academic backgrounds, Alice received an overwhelmingly positive response. Audience members showed great interest in the REBORN project, both in terms of its overarching concept and its scientific details. Questions ranged from general inquiries about the project’s vision to more technical aspects, including the mechanical properties of the patch and the ultrasound stimulation techniques involved.

The enthusiasm and curiosity expressed by the audience reaffirmed REBORN’s potential impact in advancing healthcare through cutting-edge biomaterials and technology.
